TMHS Music Department's Broadway Trip

The TMHS Music Department had a fantastic trip to NYC last Thursday, April 2nd! We had 29 students, 8th-12th grade, attend the trip. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch, then went to see the Broadway show, The Great Gatsby. Some students had already finished the book in class with Tom Smith, who helped chaperone the trip, while others will read it as part of the curriculum in years ahead. The students were fabulous representatives of Thompson Public Schools!
TMHS Welding Program

TMHS Welding Program

Michael Joyce, TMHS Tech Ed Teacher is the man who started TMHS welding program that has evolved into a multiyear courses where students can take welding 1,2,3 & 4 throughout their high school career.
We have expanded interest with area high schools as evidenced today with such a great turn out to interview at Electric Boat.
One man can certainly make a difference. Thank you Mike!
